Our Urban handmade shop Program helps connect talented indigenous slum and urban artisans with markets, to help them earn fair wages for their work whilst safeguarding traditional techniques and evolving new ones.
Our urban artisans often work with their families or in women’s collectives, specializing in hand craft, stone painting ,tailoring, farming provide carbonic product,. The products made by our talented urban artisan partners are all available for sale through our urban handmade shop.
We also take wholesale orders and specialize in working with buyers to develop customized products, check out our website jyotiswarnimsociety.com and support them..
Our Urban handmade shop functions for the generation of funds to run our education Program. Proceeds from all purchases go directly to support our students in education in the vocation of their choice. The beautiful art and craft work, drawing, of our talented artisans s and instructors
The students supported by our programs face major barriers to accessing education; many are orphaned, living in extreme poverty or dealing with other difficult family circumstances.
